Mwahahah !!! (mdr)

Je vous avais bien dit que ça commençait avec les batailles d'eau... Un petit mail de la part du responsable du Hall, Steve :

Just a reminder as the weather starts to get good on the University & Hall rules:

There are set rules and guidelines that are to be followed on the activities outlined below. However, within in Cayley we are relaxed about them because there has never been a need to be strict with them because you have always behaved sensibly. Please acknowledge this and don't give us a reason to change what is already a good system!

BBQ's
The following applies:
Barbeques are allowed at the hall as long as you have let one of the sub wardens or myself know. We have to fill in a form and issue you with some fire equipment. Barbecues are only allowed to take place in the brick barbecue area - nowhere else.

Water fights
You may have water fights but these are to be done outside and in a safe manner. If they get out of control or are taken into the blocks this privilege will be taken away

Paddling Pools
Paddling pools are allowed. Please check with the sub warden or myself - the size of the pool is limited to 200cm in diameter and 40 cm in depth. One person is to be registered as being responsible for jointly owned pools. They are only to be filled with cold water. The noise around this area should be kept within acceptable levels and again no students should be disturbed, particularly in the run up to exams. They have to be emptied by 9pm every night into a drain or gully wherever possible. They must not be left out overnight. It is the responsibility of all the students attending to leave the area tidy

Ball Games
Ball games are permitted around the external grounds of Cayley. Please consider the possibility of damage to hall property / buildings as well as disturbing other students when partaking in ball games around the hall. You may be asked to stop playing if the activities are causing disturbances to other hall members or if they are likely to cause damage. Basically have some common sense guys and try not to hit the ball in my garden ; )

Hope you all have a great summer and I'll see you about.

Steve
